Cultural development in the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM

 

2006

  • Integration of culture in the 2006-2011 strategic planning of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM.

2008  

  • First Towns and Villages of Arts and Heritage (Villes et Villages d’art et de patrimoine - VVAP) triennial agreement signed between the Collines-de-l’Outaouais Regional County Municipality (RCM) and the Department of Culture and Communications (ministère de la Culture et des Communications – MCC), which allows the hiring of one cultural development human resource on the territory of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM.

2009

  • Creation of the Table culturelle des Collines (Collines’ Cultural Table), with the mandate to draft the first Cultural Policy of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM.

2010

  • Launch of the first Cultural Policy of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM..

2011

  • Adoption of the Action plan of the 2011-2013 Cultural Policy
  • Start of the second Villes et Villages d’art et de patrimoine (VVAP) triennial agreement.

2012

  • Signature of the first Cultural Development Agreement (CDA) between the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM and the MCC, which aims to provide the RCM with a Cultural Development Fund (CDF). This Fund allows the implementation of the projects described in the Action Plan of the Cultural Policy of the RCM;
  • Set up of the Commission Culturelle des Collines-de-l’Outaouais (Collines-de-l’Outaouais’ Cultural Commission), replacing the Table culturelle;
  • First call for projects of the Cultural Development Fund (CDF), through which six (6) cultural development projects were financed. See the list of financed projects.

2013

  • Second call for projects of the Cultural Development Fund (CDF), through which nine (9) cultural development projects were financed. See the list of financed projects.

2014

  • The VVAP agreement is renewed for a seventh year, a transitional year for this agreement.
  • Third call for projects of the Cultural Development Fund (CDF), through which twelve (12) cultural development projects were financed. See the list of financed projects.

2015 

  • The VVAP agreement is renewed for an eighth year.
  • Signature of the second Cultural Development Agreement (CDA) between the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM and the MCC, which aims to provide the RCM with a Cultural Development Fund (CDF).
  • Fourth call for projects of the Cultural Development Fund (CDF), through which fourteen (14) cultural development projects were financed. See the list of financed projects.
